Have you ever wondered how to clean out your grout lines without the use of harsh chemicals? Today I would like to share this household tip with you. Steam cleaners are the special secret for removing dirt from grout lines; they are also perfect for porous tiles as well as smooth tiles. The hot steam goes right into those hard-to-reach crevices and loosens up dirt, grease, and grime, thus delivering great results on most hard to clean surfaces. After connecting a small brush to the steam lance, you can begin applying the steam directly onto the grout line. It works best if you select a stiff nylon brush for delicate grout and a brass one for tougher grout stains. Keep in mind that brass bristles may damage some types of tiles. The dirt should come off easily as you gently scrub the area. To complete the cleaning process, attach a microfiber cloth to the rectangular tool and go over the surface to remove excess dirt.
