In the spring of 2020, my health deteriorated and I became depressed due to a serious illness. At that time, my daughter-in-law asked me to take one kitten and feed him. I agreed. He was a baby kitten. He was named Sisi. A year later, when his mating season began, I read on the internet that neutering a cat can prevent external infections and improve the cat’s health, so I had him operated on at the hospital. After the surgery, Sisi, who was constantly playing and running, lay motionless for a week.
Six months after that, I met a woman who could talk to animal-people, the lords of the mountains, the spirits of places. When I showed her the picture of Sisi, she said, “It is very right to name him Sisi, because his soul is the daughter of the spirit of Locus, the lord of the mountain, who has come to help you, and now it is time for him to go. If you do not let him go now, his life will be in danger.” When I returned home from the meeting, Sisi greeted me at the door with an expression of fear I had never seen on him before. He seemed to know about our meeting. A week later, Sisi was taken to his real home, the mountains. When we approached the foot of the mountain and opened the car door, he himself got out and climbed straight up the mountain. When I called Sisi, he turned for one last look and moved on.
