It’s so rewarding to be able to pluck your own fresh produce for dinner! Maybe you can try growing tomatoes? In this case, I have a gardening tip on how to protect the tomatoes growing in your vegetable garden. A key strategy is to use natural methods to keep away parasitic bugs like aphids, while still welcoming the pollinating friends such as bees and butterflies. One trick is to use catmint, also known as catnip, as a ground cover around your tomato plants. Bees and butterflies will be attracted to your yard by their fragrant flowers, but due to its potent scent, aphids stay away. Another benefit to catnip is for our household animal-friends and can be achieved by scattering sprigs of the plant throughout their bedding. This will help deter ticks and fleas. In addition, rubbing catnip onto your dog-buddy’s body right before a walk will help ward off ticks and fleas contacted along the way. Your feline friends may experience exhilaration as a result of increasing catnip in the garden and throughout the house, so experiment to see how much they respond and how to use this amazing gift of nature.

My story is about a cute bunny-person captivated by Master’s enchanting songs. On a beautiful sunny afternoon, luck was on my side, as I was able to leave work early. The drive home was smooth and effortless, thanks to the grace of the Divine. As I opened the electric gate to the house and proceeded to park in my usual spot, I was surprised to see it was occupied by a little gray bunny-person! While driving slowly toward my parking space, the sweet bunny-individual graciously moved away to the nearest block wall, some 20 feet (6 meters) away. I tried my best to play Master’s lectures or Her songs while driving, so as to always be in Master’s protective energy field. Wanting to share Master’s Loving Vibration and Grace with this little bunny friend, I proceeded to roll down the car window and turn up the volume. Now parked, I watched the little bunny-person with inquisitive eyes, as Master’s melodic voice was resonating in all directions through the car’s speakers, blessing the trees nearby, the pebbles on the ground, the ants crawling by, and the majestic bird-people soaring above. Slowly and cautiously, the intrigued bunny-individual moved closer toward me as he sensed I was friendly. He rested some 6 feet (1.8 meters) away, laying on his side with stretched out legs, half-opened eyes, all the while bathing in the bliss of God’s music. Soon, he moved even closer to me, ears dancing back and forth, legs tucked under, in a meditative position. We shared a musical moment together, the bunny-friend and I, in close proximity under the beautiful blue sky. And soon, having received his fill of invisible blessings, the little bunny-person hopped away.
We have much to learn from our friends, the animal-people. Please respect their lives by going vegan. Our actions should be aligned with the Saints and Sages of time immemorial. Only then can Earth be a true Paradise, and the lion-person shall stand next to the lamb-person in brotherhood. Heather from California, United States
