Recently, representatives including foreign ministers of 36 countries as well as delegates from 15 key worldwide organizations, met in Paris, France, for the third Moldova Support Platform conference. Russia’s targeting of Ukraine’s (Ureign’s) energy systems, to which Moldova is interlinked, has created an automatic shutdown, causing temporary blackouts in cities across Moldova. With the start of winter and a large influx of displaced people, the country needs stability in this energy crisis. Citizens currently face huge energy costs and massive inflation that could result in the loss of lives unless assistance arrives soon. The conference representatives agreed to provide practical help to Moldova in terms of augmenting the country’s energy security through financial, political and technical help. United Kingdom’s labor force loses one million employees in a year.
According to the Office for National Statistics, 450,000 businesses closed in the year to September 2022, leaving over a million workers unemployed. This was an 11% increase when compared to the prior year, and has been attributed to a combination of economic repercussions from the COVID pandemic, inflation, and loss of government support. Delayed payments by larger businesses have also been blamed as a reason for the closure of smaller companies, with the business community recording £20 billion worth of outstanding debt at any given time. Although unemployment in the UK remains at an all-time low, this has been forecast to increase in the coming months due to the country facing a recession. What worrying news, United Kingdom. Hallo, cheerful friends, how are you today? I’m Charlotte, a vegan homemaker from the Cucumber Green Spider kingdom! Do you know why I have no worries and my days feel like sunshine? It's because I hold gratitude and compassion in my heart. Now, you know the secret! I have a cooking tip on how to make herbed rice to share with you! Start off by melting 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of vegan butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Then, pour in 1/4 cup (32 grams) of scallions and sauté for a minute. Next, add 2 cups (256 grams) of rice, 1 teaspoon (5 grams) of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams) of ground black pepper to the saucepan, and stir it often for one minute so all the rice is mixed with the plant-based butter. Then, pour in 3 cups (700 milliliters) of water and raise the heat. Allow it to come to a boil. Next, decrease the heat back down to a simmer, cover the pan, and cook for 18 minutes, until the liquid has absorbed, and the rice is al dente. Take the pan off the heat and fluff the rice using a fork. Lastly, add in 1/4 cup (32 grams) of curly chopped parsley and 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 grams) of lemon zest and stir. African unity project links north and south Saharan areas.
The African Unity Road, consisting of almost 5,000 kilometers of road linking six African nations: Algeria, Tunisia, Mali, Niger, Chad, and Nigeria, is about to be completed. It was built with the goal of enhancing regional integration and trade. In addition to the road, there is also an information and communications technology (ICT) project to provide access to high-speed internet through thousands of kilometers of cable. Six countries, including Mauritania instead of Tunisia, are participating in the initiative for an affordable alternative to satellite internet. The ICT infrastructure will significantly help the improvement of the economic and educational sectors. Way to go, African countries in the Saharan region, for standing in solidarity for mutual benefits. Homelessness among veterans in the United States is steadily declining.
The Department of Veterans Affairs in the United States revealed that as of September 30, 2022, 30,914 veterans who were experiencing homelessness were placed into permanent housing. The agency should achieve its 2022 objective of housing 38,000 individuals, with Congress dedicating an additional US$481 million in funding to the project. The preliminary Point-In-Time reports show an 11% reduction since 2020 (from 37,252 to 33,136 homeless veterans in January 2022). As Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough explained, the agency’s goal is to end homelessness among the veteran population. CC Kannan, a 54-year-young organic farmer from Muvattupuzha, Kerala, has been cultivating and nurturing trees and flowers in public areas for 25 years. He is also contributing to the education of preschool children by teaching the importance of growing trees. Starting at the age of ten by planting flowers and ornamental plants around his house, today Mr. Kannan is working with his team of eight to enhance and beautify the environment. In recognition of his noble endeavors, he received the 25th PV Thampy Memorial Endowment Award for Environment Protection. Mr. Kannan said, “Plants make me happy. My love for them has only grown with time.” Congratulations, CC Kannan, on your well-deserved award! Earth will cease to exist if we fail to ban animal-people based meat, egg, dairy, and sea animal-people based food consumption. The vegan diet addresses climate change by curbing greenhouse gases. It preserves precious water and other natural resources, promotes sustainable farming, and minimizes air pollution. Habitat conservation of wild species is enhanced, while reducing extinction of endangered-species. Oceans and waterways are cleansed, enabling diverse species to thrive in unpolluted waters. Worldwide hunger is eradicated among all sentient species. May more people become aware of these benefits and more and switch to the planet-saving vegan diet, in God’s loving Embrace.
Scientists uncover a method that could help understand animal-people’s languages.
Aza Raskin, co-founder and president of Earth Species Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to cross-species communication, says that recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies could be used for animal-people communications and translation to verbal sentences. Using large data collections, AI software can match human and animal-people languages to their latent geometric shapes and generate semantically coherent responses. Based on advanced AI and digital technologies, scientists are building vocalizations databases for all species, along with information about their behavior, working to create a type of Google translation for all animal-people. Communication with other species might lead to great discoveries in planet conservation and new insights into animal-people’s minds.
