A group of 44 children from an orphanage in Eastern Ukraine were recently given refuge in a resort in Trakai of neighboring Lithuania. Concern for the children’s safety grew as Russian forces bombed nearby military infrastructure. After a nervous 1,600-kilometer bus journey, the children are now happy to be in their new home and have been wholeheartedly welcomed by the Trakai community, who worked to arrange their food, schooling and other activities. The town’s mayor, The Honorable Andrius Šatevičius, said, “They are our children now.” Bless you, kind Trakai and Lithuania, for your loving actions to care for the vulnerable youngsters of your besieged neighbor. Astronomers map supermassive black holes.
An international team of astronomers used a network of 20,000 antennae spread throughout Western Europe to form a map of 25,000 supermassive black holes. The antennae, also known as the Low-Frequency Array (LOFAR) radio telescope, recorded 256 hours of data filtered through an algorithm to correct for distortions introduced by the Earth’s ionosphere. The algorithm took years to develop and will allow them to expand their map, which currently only covers 4% of the sky in the Northern Hemisphere. The largest supermassive black hole ever found is 66 billion times bigger than our Sun. Thank you, international researchers, for advancing our understanding of the Universe, including the dangerous black holes. You can drill drainage holes, then fill the planter with pre-moistened potting soil until it is within 3 centimeters from the top. Now, the gardener can enjoy growing shallow-rooted herbs and veggies, like basil, thyme, lettuce, spinach and cherry tomatoes. Entrepreneur promotes greenhouse farming in Cameroon.
Founded by Roland Fomundam, Greenhouse Ventures has been building low-cost greenhouses with climate-smart technology since 2014 to increase fruit and vegetable quality and quantity throughout Cameroon. The greenhouses enable farmers to grow a wide range of produce, including bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini, while increasing profitability and reducing the distance to local markets. Designed for Cameroon’s diverse climate and ecological zones, the structures can be manufactured and set up within a week. The bountiful produce grown is then supplied to supermarkets, hotels and restaurants as well as homes throughout the country. The greenhouse academy was also launched to facilitate knowledge transfer and to encourage others to join the industry, offering both practical and classroom sessions with experts. Global collaboration helps protect Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
Climate change, overfishing and pollution have damaged some areas of the treasured world heritage site, which is comprised of more than 4,000 individual reefs stretching over 2,300 kilometers. Over the past few months, crews of volunteer scientists, tourists, diving crews, and more have teamed up to survey the Reef and collect data of its conditions. Some 55,000 images have been taken from 850 sites and are posted publicly online for people from anywhere in the world to analyze. The project, titled The Great Reef Census, is run by Australia-based charity, Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef, and helps provide vital insights for conservation while engaging the global community. Eleven-year-old pledges to surf 1,000 consecutive days to raise money for the homeless.
Carter Doorley wanted to help his community in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States, following a surge of job losses and homelessness. Carter started out with a goal to surf for 100 days in a row, and received a much bigger response from the public than he had expected. Encouraged, the big-hearted boy kept increasing his goal, and as of March surpassed his 600-day milestone. Carter has braved snow and freezing-cold water towards achieving his mission. With the money raised so far, he has provided contributions to local homeless shelters, an animal-people rescue, and other non-profits. Carter also wants to inspire people to help others who are less fortunate. A big round of applause, Carter Doorley, for your outstanding commitment and kindness. Good Food Technologies has announced that it has completed its investment fundraising with US$1.5 million. The company currently produces tasty plant-based pork products made from soy protein, including meatballs, patties, minces, and ground pork – all of which are vegan. They mimic the flavors of their animal-people-based counterparts while using one-tenth of the resources compared to the meat industry. Good Food Technologies will launch additional delicious products and expand its market, primarily focusing on Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Plans are also to debut its Plant Sifu brand range, which includes vegan dim sum and dumplings, in supermarkets. Way to go, Good Food Technologies, on this success for your compassionate food business. Maryland, USA, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, bans the declawing of cat-people.
The Maryland state legislature has voted to ban the declawing of cat-people and will be the second state in the country to do so after New York, which passed the same legislation in 2019. The new measure prevents declawing due to cosmetic reasons or for the convenience of handling the cat-person; it will be allowed only if medically necessary. Declawing mutilates the cat-people’s paws and causes them pain even when walking. The law states that veterinarians who perform this barbaric procedure will be fined up to US$5,000 for a first offense and up to US$10,000 for a second offense, plus suspension or revocation of their license. Bravo, Maryland, for passing this law to help protect the sensitive cat-persons. May all governments do more to safeguard the noble people of all animal kingdoms, in Heaven’s abounding glory.

I hope we are worthy of all Master’s Love and sacrifices. But still, we ignorant humans continue our sins. There are still countless humans who do not stop eating or torturing these innocent animal-people. How long will they do this? I do not know.
Every time I see Your cries, tears, sighs and screams in Your conferences, the whole world becomes dark to me. Master, I know that You see a brighter future that we are unable to see, and You still hope to save the last person You can from this lowly world, and I know that You will do Your best and strive to fulfill Your noble vow to turn the world into a vegan world and total peace.
I beg the Supreme Deity and all the Benevolent Gods, Beings and Powers of the Universe to gather all Their Powers and bring them down to this world. Please let this negative power disappear from the world, all the souls be cleansed and not a speck of evil remain in this world so that our Master completes Her mission and attains peace.
