Dear Master, I wish to recount an extraordinary experience from my sister’s wedding in Eastern Nepal. It was a non-vegetarian affair, but I brought along some vegan meat from home. Surprisingly, many guests enjoyed the vegan meat I shared.
After the festivities, I had an inner vision. In it, the animal-people that had been consumed at the feast appeared to me as mummified figures crying out for help. Moved by their plight, I immediately began reciting the Five Holy Names. To my amazement, my sister, who is soon to be initiated, joined me in chanting the Five Holy Names. This revelation made me realize that she might have already received initiation by Master’s Power. As we chanted, Buddhist monks also joined in, reciting their mantras. Despite my unfamiliarity with Buddhist chants, they seamlessly blended into the Five Holy Names we were chanting.
Miraculously, the mummified souls transformed into brilliantly colored butterflies, filling the sky and surrounding forest with their radiant presence. It was a sight beyond description, and I felt a profound sense of liberation for these once-suffering beings. This experience deepened my understanding of the Power of the Five Holy Names and underscored the importance of remembering and chanting them wherever we go.
